Junior riders, of any ability will enjoy an action packed week of riding, learning stable management and tons of horse activities. Riders will improve their skills and learn new ones during daily riding sessions. Some of our mounted activities will include: gymkhana games, obstacle courses, "drill team" maneuvers and a practice horse show. Campers may also get to try their hand at driving a pony cart on a "cone course".
Daily horsemanship lessons will teach campers to be confident and skillful while handling and caring for their horse from the ground. Grooming, tacking/untacking, basic equine first aid, bandaging and braiding are just a few of the topics we will cover.
Our summer camp sessions run for one (1) full week, Monday - Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Our camp is very hands on, action packed and NEVER bording!
